Unarmed combat.

Presentation to lay cognitive foundation concerning violent encounters and the methodology of fighting.

• Basic stances, punches and kicks.
• Closing the gap and countering or initiating the confrontation.
• Block and counter sparring (punches and kicks)
• Throws and take downs
• Pressure points
• Non lethal control and restrain techniques to subdue an aggressive person.
• Keep in mind that they will be working in confined spaces.

The training needs to cover a comprehensive spectrum, which cannot be conveyed realistically in such a short period of time. A series of training workshops are suggested.
